We were joined by Steve Darné, general manager of the 1com group which includes many well known bars and restaurants in Luxembourg. He said it had been tough times int he sector and that the recovery period could be as long as 6 years to make up the losses. Steve, who has also launched a petition calling for government support for rents in difficult times such as these, expressed surprise that more people are yet to sign, saying that everyone stood to benefit from these business surviving.
